1 kg · 5 kgView product →Paint is only as good as the surface under it. Wall putty exists to give paint that surface: a fine, white, cement-based skim that fills pores and undulations, evens out suction so the paint film dries uniformly, and adds a bright base that lifts the final shade.
On new work it goes over cured plaster; on repaint jobs it rescues patchy, filled or uneven walls. Decorative white cement extends the same idea to architectural finishes where the surface itself — not a paint film — is the final look.

For a quality finish, yes. Putty fills fine pores and undulations and evens the wall’s suction, so paint spreads uniformly, needs fewer coats and shows truer colour. Skipping it usually costs more in extra paint and touch-ups than the putty would have.
Two thin coats is standard practice — the first fills, the second finishes. Thick single coats are prone to shrinkage and blade marks. Follow the coat thickness and recoat interval on the product datasheet.
