How to clean epoxy grout haze before it sets

As soon as the joints are packed and the grout starts to firm (but before it skins), wipe the tile face diagonally with a damp scotch pad to emulsify the film, then a damp sponge to lift it. Diagonal strokes avoid dragging grout out of the joints.

Dirty water just redeposits epoxy as haze. Rinse the sponge and swap to clean water often — one bucket to rinse, one clean.

Follow up with a clean, damp sponge in light circular then straight strokes to remove the last fine film before it cures.

For haze that has already hardened, apply SUMO Sparkle epoxy haze remover per its instructions, agitate, then rinse. Always test on a spare tile first, especially on polished or natural surfaces.
